On Sunday, November 2nd, our Sunday morning activities will look very different from the usual. Rather than having a worship service, we will be conducting service of worship. Aren’t those the same thing? Yes and no. It’s best to just explain. On that Sunday, instead of a time of worship through song, prayer and Scripture, we will be involved in acts of service for our community: packing care packages, raking leaves, delivering flowers and a number of other activities. These will be our acts of worship, to serve others.
What do I need to do to participate? Show up on November 2nd at 11 a.m. Some activities will be taking place a little earlier. Call the church office for details, 627-9889.
