Tuesday night’s prayer meeting is at the home of Jock and Jan Tulk (10720 S Moonlight Bay Rd; 627-5897) at 7:00 p.m.

Our first night of in home prayer meetings is at the home of Jim and Ruth Gundry (4144 Long Point Dr; 627-4020).  We will begin at 7 p.m.

Our week of prayer will begin with a “concert of prayer” on Sunday evening, January 4th at 6:00 p.m.

The youth group will be hosting a St Lucia Celebration, a Swedish tradition on Sunday, December 14th at 6:00 p.m. with Christmas readings, carols, St Lucia rolls, pepperkakor (a traditional cookie) and coffee. This is a fundraiser for CHIC, but we want you to come even if you are unable to give.

During Sunday morning worship on December 14th, the choir will be presenting its annual Christmas Cantata. This is always a wonderful celebration through music and a great time to invite friends.

The women will be hosting their annual Christmas Dinner at the Great Lakes Grille at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th (price TBD).  Please bring a donation for the “Clean and Comfortable” program: personal care items such as tissue, toilet paper, cleaning and laundry aids – anything that a household needs that falls outside the “foods” category.   There is a sign up sheet posted on the Women’s Ministry table in the fellowship hall.

The youth group will be hosting a fundraiser Dinner & a Movie night with Chili, Cornbread and Chocolate, featuring the movie, “The Nativity”.  Dinner will begin at 5:30 with the movie starting shortly after 6:00 p.m.  Freewill donation.

The Women’s Book Club will be meeting on November 17th at 6:30 p.m. at Carole White’s home (1104 Marina Dr,, 627-2839).  Book for the month is Mistaken Identity by the VanRyn and Cerak families.  Newcomers are welcome.

A one day workshop designed to help you learn how to better manage your finances.  The course runs from 9am – 5 pm and includes free lunch and refreshments.

There will be a men’s breakfast on November 8th at 7:30 a.m.  All men are invited to join us for a time of good food and getting to know each other.  Following the breakfast, for those available and willing we will be doing some work around the church.
