Driftwood Cross Art Project

We did this art project during the summer of 2011.  People in the congregation were asked to pick up driftwood and small rocks while walking and praying over the summer and bring them to the church.  The collected memories were then put together to form this cross.

The Story Art Project

This project was created to go along with our study of  The Story.  Each week, a new piece of artwork by one of our members will be displayed on the pulpit.  This image will correspond with the Biblical story for the week.

Our Beautiful Salvation

During Lent 2010, we asked people in the congregation to decorate small crosses to remember their salvation.  These crosses were then put together to create two large banners.

Leap of Faith

This was a “surprise project” created by one of our members, Shirle Bedient, in which individuals and groups were given a small square to color and then when the pictures were placed together the final project was seen.

These two banners were designed by Ellen Boda and created by Becky Granger.  They are a part of a rotation of banners that we use at the front of our sanctuary.

Chrismons

This is an ongoing project, creating Chrismons, which are symbols of the life and ministry of Jesus.  We use them to decorate trees during the Advent and Christmas season.
